This was actually the second time I’ve climbed Shoga-dake. Or at least, climbed to this mountain. Last time I got to what I thought was the summit of Shoga-dake. This time I found out I was wrong.
Only by a few hundred metres, mind you.
Shoga-dake is a peak off Chokai-san famous for Nikko Kisuge day lilies, small orangey-yellow lilies that form massive alpine meadows.
