Here’s my latest video for you
Expect more video content from me from now on.
I’m sure you can appreciate it, but it takes me a long time to make my videos.
Too long, I’ve decided.
This year I have only been able to put out two videos, which is nowhere near good enough. I’ve been preoccupied with just normal life stuff, and that has meant putting videos on the backburner for too long.
And then just the other day a friend of mine, Matt Alt, released a video of his recent newsletter:
The thing is, he was just talking about the content of the video while taking a walk out in Shimokitazawa.
Minimal editing, but with the same great content, and it got me thinking:
I can do that.
The main thing stopping me from making videos was wanting them to be perfect. But ‘perfect’ entails a whole lot of editing that I simply don’t have the time for. Sure, I could outsource the editing, but organising that also takes time I don’t have.
This simple realisation? Inspiration? has lit a fire in me again, and I’m about to go out and record the next video. Since I have a backlog of articles I’m going to start there.
If you have any articles in particular you think would make good videos, let me know, I value your opinion on this! Or any other topic you would like me to cover related to Japan.
Ka kite ano,
Tim.
