Sending you our deepest sympathies, Tim. I had a similar experience with my mom and dad. I lost my dad suddenly recently, my mom I lost while I was out delivering supplies to people trapped during the Covid-19 lockdown and I couldn't even attend her funeral because there was no travel allowed. I'm sure your mom and your dad know how much you loved them.

Very sad to hear about your Mother. My Dad had dementia and he only remembered Mom. But there was one moment when he recognised me, and it was enough.
