I climbed Shirataka-yama in Shirataka-machi / Yamanobe-machi / Nanyo-shi / Kaminoyama-shi last week. The autumn leaves were out and everything, it was glorious! I’ll have a more substantial write-up out when I can. For now, I hope you enjoy these photos!

This container at the Takehara Trailhead (?) gave off some really bad vibes…

The start of the trail goes through a thick cedar forest. Where have I seen that before…
